DrumOrama Drum Study

Structured drum study

DrumOrama is a structured drum study environment for adults who want their study to be organised, directed, and consistent across time.

Study begins with placement, so that the route, level, and starting point are right before lessons start. From there, lessons, practice, and review are kept within one connected structure. Nothing is left unobserved between sessions.
This is not a casual lesson format. It is a serious study environment for people who want their work to go somewhere.

DrumOrama does not operate as a generic lesson model.

Takes around 5 minutes. A recommended path is returned immediately on submission. No obligation at the point of form completion.

Marios Karavasilis FLCM

Founded by Marios Karavasilis

I created DrumOrama after seeing how drum teaching is often organised around individual lessons rather than coherent long-term study.

With a Master’s degree in drums, the FLCM qualification, and teaching experience extending from early study through to formal examination preparation, I built DrumOrama as a structured educational environment for students who want serious work at the instrument handled with clarity, continuity, and direction.

Three study paths

Foundation+, Mastery, and Distinction serve different starting points, working demands, and preparation needs.

Each path has its own logic, but all three remain part of one connected study environment.

How study works

Route-based study

Study is organised through three paths with different starting conditions and preparation needs.

Connected lesson structure

Lessons do not stand alone, but remain connected through weekly planning, practice, and review.

Placement before enrolment

Placement is used so that study begins under the correct route and level conditions.

Ongoing Review

Work is reviewed through recurring checkpoints, feedback, and route-based adjustment across time.

Study is not left unobserved between lessons, but supported through review, planning, and connected weekly work across time.

DrumOrama study extends beyond technical work and examination preparation. [See what study includes →]

Human-led,

AI-supported study

AI is used at DrumOrama to support reflection, review, and progress visibility across time.

Structured reflection after study and lessons

Clearer review of weekly work and patterns

Planning support for ongoing study direction

Teaching decisions, interpretation, and educational direction remain human-led.
