DrumOrama Study

Three study paths within one structured environment

DrumOrama is organised through three study paths: Foundation+, Mastery, and Distinction.

These paths exist within one connected study environment, but they do not serve the same study direction, working condition, or educational function.

Drum Studio

Why DrumOrama is organised through paths

Not all students begin from the same starting point, with the same level of control, or with the same study direction.

For that reason, DrumOrama is not presented as one undifferentiated lesson model. It is organised through separate paths so the route of study can reflect the kind of work actually needed.

How the routes differ

All three routes begin through the same Study Placement Form. The difference is not the public starting mechanism, but the kind of study direction each route represents.

One common starting point

01

Complete the Study Placement Form

All students begin through the same form. It is used as the common starting point across Foundation+, Mastery, and Distinction.

02

State your current study direction

The form reviews current playing, structure, independence, and overall study direction.

03

A recommended path is identified

The result returns one of three recommended paths: Foundation+, Mastery, or Distinction, based on the information provided in the form.

04

The next step is communicated directly

Once the form has been reviewed, the appropriate next step is communicated in relation to the recommended route.

What happens after submission

After submission, the form is reviewed and one of the three paths is returned as the recommended route. Where formal examination preparation is being considered, additional material may also be requested before the next step is confirmed.
