About DrumOrama

A structured environment for serious drum study

DrumOrama is a structured drum study environment built to present clear routes of study, stable teaching, and formal preparation where required.

It does not operate as a generic lesson model.

Its public structure is designed to make the study environment understandable before entry and consistent after entry.

Drum Studio

What DrumOrama is

DrumOrama presents drum study through a defined public structure rather than through disconnected lesson offers.

It is organised as a study environment in which entry, lesson continuity, and route of study are handled with clarity. This allows students to understand the overall structure before beginning and to work within a stable framework after entry.

The environment includes regular drum study, distinct study paths, level-aware entry logic, and formal preparation where this is relevant to the route involved.

The aim is not to describe drum study as a vague ambition, but as an organised educational setting with clear public form.

Drum Studio

How DrumOrama is organised

DrumOrama is organised through three separate study paths: Foundation+, Mastery, and Distinction.

These paths do not describe the same kind of study. They exist because students do not enter with the same starting point, the same level of demand, or the same study aim.

Foundation+ provides a supported route for early drum study.

Mastery provides a more developed structure for ongoing long-term study.

Distinction provides formal LCME drum kit preparation across multiple examination levels.

The teaching environment

DrumOrama is built around clarity, continuity, and appropriate entry.

The teaching environment is designed to support students through organised lesson structure rather than through isolated or loosely defined lesson contact. Study is presented as connected work over time, with attention to route, scope, and suitability.

This creates a more stable environment for students who need a clear way of entering, understanding, and continuing their drum study.

Educational direction and responsibility

DrumOrama is led by Marios Karavasilis, drum educator, performer, and founder of the DrumOrama study environment.

Its educational direction is supported by formal study, teaching practice, and examination-based preparation work. This includes a master’s degree in drums, the FLCM in Drum Kit Performance.

DrumOrama has been built to present drum study with more structure, clearer public form, and greater educational consistency than a standard private lesson model.

The aim is not only to teach individual lessons, but to maintain a serious and coherent environment for drum study.

Who DrumOrama is for

DrumOrama is for students who need a clear route of study rather than undefined lesson contact.

This includes students seeking supported early structure, students building a serious long-term study route, and students preparing for formal drum kit examinations within a defined framework.

It is also suitable for students who want the nature of the study environment to be clear before entry.

The appropriate route is determined through the Study Placement Form
